but if you do get it, get it on either your outer calf (yes, it will
hurt there), your upper arm, or your upper-central back.

I hate needles so it amazes me that I can get these things. I
think it's cause of Jay. He makes me forget about it. I'm so in
love with him. Hehe I'm all happy when I think about him.

I got two, one one my upper back(behind the right shoulder) and one on my
left shoulder. The one on the left shoulder is StickMan, It is not too big
and I really like it(it did hurt) In the oceans vid I noticed one of the
band has a bigger one but I can't remember which guy?????

i agree, that would be an awesome tattoo!
i thought about it overnight and think that the best place for that "tat"
would either be on the middle of your outer calf or on the outside of your
upper arm. these are just suggestions of course, the final decision should
be based on your own feelings and nothing else. if you want to get it on the
bottom of your left foot...then so be it, as long as that's what YOU want.

My experience was a bit backwards from yours. I have a Princess of Wands
(from a German Tarot deck I found) on my left calf, and it didn't really
hurt much at all. The rose from my friends wedding napkin (I dunno...I
liked it!) is on the back of my right shoulder, and that one hurt like a
bitch! I also have a yin/yang tribal anklet that didn't really hurt. In
fact, it was over too soon....I don't think I got my full ink fix with that
one. And I have a tribal sun on my left inside fore arm. THAT one was Very
Painful. It took forever for the endorphins to kick in, and it took a long
time to heal, because that area gets used/bumped so much. So that makes
four. I think the next one I'm going to get is the AiC sun....not sure
where yet, but since I have no $ for it right now, I have time to think
about it.

I've never been too much of a fan of tattoos myself. I'm never really satisfied
with the way things are...I'm constantly rearranging the posters in my room,
growing my hair long, cutting it short, growing it long, combing it differently,
flirting with facial hair and then shaving it off, changing the style of clothes
I wear, etc. etc. etc. I figure that a tattoo is like permanently decorating
your house. Would you want to live in a house that you decorated at the age of
18?? I certainly wouldn't.
However....if I WERE to get a tattoo, the only one that I've ever even
considered is a bar code. I think it would be sweet to have a barcode, either
on my left arm, on the outside, or else I'd have to shave my head and have it on
the back of my skull. I think that latter would be cooler, because right now,
while I'm young and stupid, I can have a bald head and a bar code on it. Then,
when I grow up and have to be "respectable", I can just grow out my hair and
forget about my youthful stupidity. But if I DID get a bar code, the bigger
question is what kind to get? I'd probably get one from a really nice bottle of
wine. Or a dildo...whichever one I can get my hands on first. ;)
