The only documented time Pearl Jam ever met Oasis was at the first Oasis
appearance in Seattle during the Definitely Maybe tour on Jan. 28th '95. My
brother was at that concert. Also notable is that we had an earthquake that
night. Symbolic? I think so.

No kidding. One of the Gallagher brothers, Noel I think, said that Eddie
whines too much and "he should follow Kurt Cobain's example and blow his

Hmmm.... haven't heard that one. Um, the only thing I've heard Noel say
about EV was something to the tune of if he isn't happy (with success or
fame) they why doesn't he go work in a car wash or at McDonalds? This
was from an interview played on one of the MTV specials either the Oasis
Rockumentry or the similar.

This might have been the first and only time they ever met but this
wasn't their first appearance in Seattle.

Well, last I checked, MTV never needed to provide subtitles for Eddie even
tho he was speaking in English. Noel and Liam on the other hand... And no,
I'm not kidding about this.

I gather that people from the same part of England that Liam and Noel come
from have comparable accents. I can understand a wide variety of accented
English, but man I *NEEDED* those subtitles. I couldn't understand a
fucking word they were saying. Liam enunciates fairly well when he sings,
but actually speaking... yikes.

Hmm...Eddie said on a concert in Adalaide in 1998 that Pearl Jam loves Liam
Gallagher. And that they understood why Liam headbutted a fan for asking for
a picture or something..Eddie said he had done the same the night before,
because they were out and drinking these Australian beers, Coopers, and
played pool with some guys and had great fun, than one asshole came and
asked for a picture and Eddie headbutted the guy...or something like that?!
I think I can remember....
I have just heard the Oasis and Eddie song and it really sounds like Eddie,

sift through the LOADS OF BULLSHIT POSTS....I know most are good, but
occasionally there are 50 stupid, pointless ones that I for one don't need
to sit and read while my kids are sick with bronchitis, etc.......I just try
to skip to the ones that sound important, or ones that catch my attention. I
try to read them all, but sometimes I just can't. So, I can totally
understand why somebody might miss some. Not to mention that tons of mine
don't come up unless I do a search for new posts.
All I am saying is that we are all fans of Pearl Jam, lets be friends, not
foes.............
