PC dvd decoder

Arghhhh!!! Bought a new pc and I dumped wxp home off it for pro. My
wxp home factory image disk contained my dvd decoder to play dvds on my
pc. Of course now that I have formated the hard drive I have lost the
decoder!. Does anyone know where I can downlaod a free dvd decoder
from? Micro$hit say I need to pay $30 for a new one. Vendors say "we
don't support xp pro on that pc". I can't find any free 3rd pary
decoders on the net.

check with your video card manufacturer. ATI and NVIDIA both provide
decoders in their driver/software packages. If it's some other brand,
their website may have one also.
