I have noticed that as well. I'm starting to hate the site. I defiantly hate
the Message Pit. Everyone is a little "I love PJ" robot. Yes we know you
love them... that's why you are at their Web Site and post on this message
board. That doesn't mean you have to like everything they do. Sorry, but
Stone's solo album was shite. Brad's latest one isn't that great either. And
whoever wrote the lyrics to Love Boat Captain should be killed!

maybe you should have been at Roskilde as well to be moved by those
lyrics?

I'm sorta with you... I don't really get why people have such an issue with
that song... I happen to think it's good...

I'm not saying it's not fair to judge it even if you weren't there... or that
it's above critisism just because of the subject matter... I'm just sayin...

The Stone album rocked! Anyway, that's the worst part about the leak
is that its pitting fan against fan and Pearl Jam against fan. I wish
that the band would grow some balls and say either way what their
exact thoughts are about internet downloading. Right now there seems
to be much confusion and many quotes about how the band doesn't care
about downloading but at the same time so many people are saying the
band clearly doesn't want us to download the album. Personally from
the quotes I have heard PJ seems happy that people would want the
album that bad. I have seen Kat say "we are not about leaks or
leakers" but Kat is not the band. Also, I took that to mean don't
discuss the leak here not PJ hates the album leaking and anyone who
discusses it will be on their shitlist.

thanks. I also don't mean that just because the subject is so heavy, the
lyrics are above criticism. But they touched me and many other people,
reading them for the first time, so I guess they are not that bad ;).

i'm hyper critical of lyrics and these don't strike me as *bad* either. bad
was NAIS(imho) some other non penned ed lyrics (not that ed hasn't written a
questionable verse, but all of his poor verses, are better then most other
people's poor verses). to be honest i only read the lyric gifs a few times
a) feel guilty... i wasn't invited to see them b) they're very blurry.

i don't know who wrote the words or music to LBC, but i really love the
song. i *think* the music sounds like mccready, but its such a hard thing
to tell.

i've only heard the live version... in that presentation of the song, the
intro sounds like vedder... but the the ebb and flow of it are reminiscent
of GTF. anywho, these guys influence and inspire each other and it goes
back and forth. its getting harder to tell who did what.

i can't wait to find out.
