Tool had the #1 spot right next to Pearl Jam for me, but they dropped to
#2 a few years ago. I am just one of those 'I like Opiate and Undertow
most' kind of Tool fans. I think the other albums are no longer 'grunge'
or 'songs'. It's almost symphonic to me now, and I hate symfo. I still
like them a lot, but I feel much more for Pearl Jam. That's not just the
music, but the whole of the band, the fans, the memories and the music.
On #2 Tool is accompanied by many other bands. I can mention a few but
I'm afraid I forget to mention all the others. Just some: Ramones,
Lemonheads, The Cooper Temple Clause, Blur, Iggy Pop, Ash, Foo Fighters,
Faith No More, Nirvana, The Beatles, Alice in Chains, The Pixies.
groetjes,
Mirella :)

Look no more! http://www.stonewallestates.com
well, pj is probably my fave, but the shortlist of the other bands i
really like are as follows--
* led zep- all four members are vital to the band; there could've been
no replacements.
* guster- it's refreshing to find a band that doesn't rely so much on
a wailing electric guitar.
* r.e.m.- a varied and multi-talented band. most people respect at
least one phase or another of this band's development.

** END TRANSMISSION **
Right now I can honestly say that The Foo Fighters has taken my number one
spot. Their new album is fucking unbelieveable from start to finish, and I
have yet to find a Foo Fighters song that I don't like. With the Four studio
albums I have two cds worth of b-sides and covers and they are almost all
I'm listening to at the moment.
Second and third place are filled by Tool and Pearl Jam respectively.
Filling out the top ten are Metallica, Sevendust, Zeppelin, Manson, Neil
Young, Local H, and Rage Against the Machine.
All of these selections are subject to change without warning or notice.
-Keith
Led Zeppelin - Love all of their stuff. My first Zep album was III when I
was 12 and been hooked ever since.
Followed closely by the Mick Taylor era of the Rolling Stones.
After that:
Pearl Jam
U2
Springsteen
Queen
Black Crowes

Cheers,
Seb
Go Eagles!
Led Zeppelin
U2
Soundgarden,
and from a slightly smaller market,
Rainer Maria
oh, and a little band from england called Radiohead
D
when Pearl Jam is active, they are far and away my favorite band...but once the
tour is over, I find myself becoming PJ-like obsessed with other bands, like
the Black Crowes, U2, Reel Big Fish etc
and then there's the Bosstones, who would be 1A to Pearl Jam's 1

wow! what a disc to start with! my first was zep 2. that was good,
yes, but zep 3... like i said, what an intro to zeppelin!!
>Followed closely by the Mick Taylor era of the Rolling Stones.
glad you specified that.
BROWN SUGAR!
Train does a fantastic cover of "ramble on"
I also seen Neil Young in 1977 or 78 on the "rust" tour which is now on DVD,
however, since I've never seen starwars......I didn't know until just
recently that the red eyed roadies were from star wars I always thought they
were monks....DOH!
1) PJ
2) counting crows
3) goo goo dolls
I like all kinds of music....based on my mood :)
My son would go with
1) Korn
2) Nirvana
3) PJ
4) stones
5)Aerosmith

Yeah, IV was my first real entry into the rock scene, not counting Duran Duran.

III is damn good. The Immigrant Song used to be my favourite track. Now,
That's The Way gets that distinction. Was never a big fan of Tangerine for
some reason, but now I love that song. Oh well.
