Paul Weller's headline performance at V2000 ended in controversy last night
as the stage manager threatened to pull the plug on his well-received set
when it over-ran by ten minutes.

Weller was playing on the main stage at Hylands Park, Chelmsford when his
dad, John, came on stage to warn his son that organisers wanted him to
finish 'Wild Wood' and get off, but Noel Gallagher then came onstage to back
Weller up...
