I've managed to lose the case and inlay to The Jam's Dig The New Breed
which features live tracks from 1977 - 1982.
Does anyone know where all the songs were taken from? It's taxing my
sanity as Wikipedia and numerous other sites don't seem to have the
information I want (Which is a first!).
Specifically, I'd like to know where and when In The City was played as
I'm sure this version was used in the film "24 Hour Party People".
Many thanks if you can help.
Cheers,
Rob

Rob,
Not too sure of the date of the In The City performance, but pretty
sure that it took place at the 100 Club and was the first song of the
encore. Back in the early 1990's I had a bootleg of the whole gig on
tape (remember those?) and remember thinking at the time that Dig the
New Breed included the same In the City performance. The bit that
sticks out is when Weller introduces the song with something along the
lines of, "Here's a tune you might know."
Hope this info is of help.
