The Victoria Park Gig was excellent. Which is more than can be said for
Finlay Quaye. A shambolic set from a guy who doesn't seem to care what the
audience want to hear. Anyway, enough of that. Weller was his usual
excellent self, and the set, although short (1 hr 30 ish) was played with
plenty of enthusiasm. Noel Gallacher joined the Modfather for "Walk on
Gilded Splinters" and although the crowd were baying for a second encore, it
never happened.
