Yes I have just got two tickets for the RAH, I would like to say a big
thankyou to Tonight@noon who first informed everyone at this nsg. I have
never seen him live and me and my girlfriend are really looking forward to
it, I did think £ 25.00 a ticket was a lot but that is what you pay for
going to see a legend.

Believe me mate £25.00 is money well spent to see Weller.

The first time I had the pleasure of seeing Mr. Weller live
was during the Heavy Soul tour. Very front row for the entire
concert... what an incredibly amazing experience :)

to see him loads N loads of times since 1979 setting sons tour with the
vapours I think. I still love it when he comes out in the dark with his fag
lit, walks up to the mike stubs it out with his foot , plugs in the guitar
and gives it some.
I would like to think he won't be playing the piano this time.

I too remember 1979 with The Vapours,I saw them at Trentham Gardens.
Weller had one of those suits on that was black on one side and white on the
other,eeh them were the days !

I managed to get a ticket for Cardiff on May 19th.
Last time he played there was shortly after the release of Stanley Road.
I took my wife who'd never been to a PW gig before and she couldn't hear
properly for three days after. I kept telling her 'but it's worth it, dear,
to have
seen the maestro and heard him play'. I guess my observations were falling
on deaf ears!!
The support was Simon Fowler of OCS who did a 40 minute set with just
him and an acoustic guitar - superb.
