I just recently got back from the Netherlands where I picked up a copy of
Helio... Being an American I had a strange feeling that this CD was not
going to be released over here...and I am glad that I got it. It took me
about 4 listens until it grew on me and I must say it is an excellent album.
I am very pissed that he is not going to tour the States because like all of
his albums, to really appreciate them you must see them played live.
There's something about some Canadian gigs, anyone have any info?

What happened to the single ? It didn't make the top 75.Last time that
happened was " Waiting" .

Final proof that Weller is past it!!! Can't even make the top 75...and the
album is dropping faster than a tarts knickers too!! Time to retire Paul!!

Sadly you're wrong "Waiting" reached No.41 and what does it really matter.
Perhaps Ł3.99 is over the top for 12 minutes of Album, Jam session and cover
version music. Whats happenend to the Weller that gave us value for money. The
TSC once released a single that was 45 minute!!!!
While moaning about VFM, Ł25 for Albert Hall tickets (the place with no
atmosphere!) perhap Weller Child maintainence has gone up!
