retiring?

I've read in a few newspapers and magazines, that there's a rumour that
Heliocentric is the Modfathers last album. Allegedly he feels that he wants
to retire before he becomes a joke. Please tell me these rumours are
bullshit! There must certainly be loads more great stuff, swirling around in
his head, for even better albums to come.

pw realises the importance of his work to the likes of us and will continue
to produce the music as long as there are people who feel passionate enough
to listen to it.I`m sick of hearing these retirement rumours there have been
many over the years ,all bullshit

The thing that was mentioned in his last Q interview circa. Heavy Soul was
that if he got sick of the record company bollocks , he would set up his own
small label and business and just do his records mail order . I think that
would be the absolute dogs bollocks myself . How cool is that ?
Weller will write , record , and perform music until the last breath leaves
his body . CAN YOU HONESTLY IMAGINE HIM DOING ANYTHING ELSE ?
The first record I bought by The Jam was 'News Of The World' on the day of
release and I've never lost my belief in him since then .
