Can anyone help me with the French lyric to The Paris Match (Introducing the
Style Council)

I've been trying to decipher what he's saying since 1983!

This is what I've come up with so far...

je suis tourmente jusqu'a naturellement
et j'entenda (?) ... de ce sont dimante ?
ton cadeau s'appelait desire
l'allumette qui porte ma flame

merci beaucoup :)

It's ...

Je suis seulement distant naturellement
Et j'aime tant garder ce sentiment
Ton cadeau s'appelait desir
L'alumette qui portait ma flamme

the literal translation is

I am only distant naturally
And I like so much to keep this feeling
Your gift was called desire
the match which carried my flame

but it's really a coloquial translation of

I'm only sad in a natural way
And I enjoy sometimes feeling this way
The gift you gave is desire
The match that started my fire
