There used to be lots of Jam chat, but not any more.
Shame...ain't it.

Well, stop whining and do something to improve this newsgroup.
It's not very hard at all really. :)
Respect,
Billy
The problem is I can't think of what to do to improve things.
See I absolutely love The Jam, I don't mind The Style Council, and I'm not
particularly fond of his Solo stuff, not now his voice has gone all gruff
after years of 600 fags a day.
So who on hear knows most about Paul's guitar set-up in The Jam?
And please don't say "A Rickenbacker 330 and a Vox AC30". He must have used
a wah-wah or something fully in the forward position to get that kind of
treble top end. I've owned a Rick 330 and an AC30 and there's no way you
can get his Jam guitar sound with just those two items. Listen to the first
four chords of Art School as an example, before he shouts "one, two, three,
four..."
Thanks
Steve

Would a drummer know that kind of detail though?
Bruce would probably have more idea wouldn't he?
Cheers Graham.
