I think Pantera will kick their live asses. I have seen both bands live
too..but PANTERA WAS WAY BETTER!!!!! Pantera has a point to prove and that
is that THEY ARE THE BEST BAND LIVE. They will prove this point. I agree on
one point..get rid of the screaming. They music is tough enough as is!!

You're right, as much as everyone thinks metallica sound out, i mean
hell it's true, but you can't say that you didn't grow up on the shit! we
all did! seeing them live is like seeing your childhood gods! they just
have this stage presence that's like "damn, it's really them"
but pantera's stage presence is just like "holy shit, i can't breathe i'm
getting pushed around so hard!" i've seen pantera twice, by the way
(those are my credentials)
what other bands have you guys seen live?
i've seen cannibal corpse 3 times (i've got a flyer with all their
autographs, chris barnes's!), broken hope, morbid angel (got pete
sandoval's autograph), deicide (got benton's autograph), probably some
other bands i can't remember too

Hi,

From the big names I've seen coal chamber, misfits, black sabbath, faith no
more, bad religion... they were all great but there's one act I've seen the
kicks the shit out of the others and that was Danzig.

The show they threw was something like pure fucking energy. IMO Danzig is
probably the most evil band ever. Rest of the worshipping I'll save for the
danzig newsgroup.

I was trying to get to the Pantera concert last summer but I got sick when I
got home from the sabbath show. Pantera was week after sabbath. Fuck. My
friends told me that it was great show. They had slayer and pantera at the
same festivals.

Let's see what bands are going to play at Finland this summer.

My first concert ever was the Deftones/White Zombie/Panter show on the
Trendkill tour. It was fuckin great!
I've also seen Overdose, Crisis, Voivod, Pro Pain, Merciful Fate, Downset,
COC/Metallica.

I've obviously been around longer than some of ya ... I've seen everyone
from The Firm (be nice!) to Testament, Motor Head, Pantera, NIN, Marilyn
Manson, even The Jacksons on that damn reunion tour after the 'Thriller'
album MJ did. I've seen it all. There is no band that has the stage presence
that Pantera does. In a club, yes ... but, Pantera can do that to / with a
crowd of 60,000!! That's ENORMOUS power and energy. Hell, the band I used to
play in even OPENED for Coal Chamber ... twice!

seen them in a couple of years now.also..sepultura, prong, gwar, ozzy, rage
against the machine, megadeth, metallica(only once since they pussed out),
nin, infectius grooves, corrosion of conformity, testament, iron maiden, and
many many more I dont care to mention..or cant remember..Pantera definatly
puts on the best shows that i have seen, especially when they play with other
good bands...the Pantera, sepultura, prong show really kicked ass. also, i've
seen most the bands that I mentioned more than once. I was at the show in
Dallas when Phil O.D.'d afterwards..I thought he was acting way fucked up
during the show but I figured at the time he was just way drunk.

Hell I have seen so many band's, most of which were at ozzfest which fukin
sucked cause when pantera came on everyone just stood there. Phil was like
why are you guys just fuckin staring at me? Move! I'm not a damn movie, move
your asses. Well needless to say they didn't and after 20 minutes pantera got
pissed and just walked off the stage. My 2 favorite by far was the pantera
white zombie tour, war of the gargantuan. and when pantera toured with type o
negative

Anthrax and CC, Megadeth, Van Halen with Monster Magnet, Pearl Jam, Deep
Purple, ELP and Dream Theater, Metallica twice last year, Sabbath Pantera &
SOAD, SOAD last year, Slayer, Static X 4 times, Slash's Snakepit, silverchair,

In search of a song with music by Pantera vocals by Rob Halford.
Unsure of the title but believe from movie soundtrack or something.
If anyone knows please e-mail me ASAP. Thanks

I take it your talking about the American Ozzfest? cos I was at the UK one
when Pantera played and they got an excellent reception, it really was a
great mosh. Straight afterwhich I went into the Life of Agony mosh which was
perhaps one of the best times I've had, gig wise (anyone else like LOA?)
What do people feel about the fact that Soulfly played above Slayer on
the main stage? 'cos IMO Soulfly are a messy one dimensional hate machine
who's only good point's are when they play old Sepultura songs.
