and my friend also from the time that and, when I completed the
training and reported for the job, my mentor had been ousted the day before
and I
was told that there were no positions open. Boy that hurt.
she didn't know there were any people who had stood in my way in the job i
had, but then there are always jealous people who don't want you to get
anywhere. I am sure that is the reason she never partnered with anyone
after
the gruesome twosome, and even sharing office space with someone doesn't
suit her -- there is always some bullshit. That's why she rents a
1/2-office
space now. The company she rents from usually pairs people who hardly ever
come
into the office. she keeps a computer and a copy machine there, and limited
supplies, she does her work at home, and, if she has to be in town for
something
for a long time, then she goes in. Her husband uses it more than she does.
If he is
filing something for her and sees an error, he goes in and fixes it.
She was probably going to lose him as her main helper . He
was moving exclusively to a day job. He was able to help mher e every
other week for a few years due to alternating shit times, and the work he
for her amounts to about a $30,000 job. she said she will have to get her
part-timer back. she can't do it all alone. If he does move to the new
shift, it will be for something that will probably pay off big time for them
later. She is praying for him, and she said she will tell me about it if
and when he gets
the job, I am still waiting to hear.
She thinks I am so brave. Because I ventured into unknown territory, said
i could do
it, and i did. she is proud of me. It is not something she is opposed to
doing, and she;s done it before...but she was single then. It's different
being married. Depending upon a partner's employment, etc., you can't
just up and move. It may even be easier if you are a single parent,
because, although kids belly ache, you can make them change schools and move
where you move. With spouses, you have to make choices that are best for
both.
