Subject: Father Osmond

On behalf of Jay and Merrill, we wanted to let all of you know that the
arrangements for their father will be announced once details are finalized.
They wish to thank everyone for their prayers, and the out-pouring of love
for their family. Many of you have e-mailed and asked us what you can do in
memory of father Osmond, so we have placed a tribute webpage on both Merrill
and Jay's websites: Merrill's website:
http://www.merrillosmond.com/memorial-father.htm; Jay's website:
http://www.jayosmond.com/Father_Osmond.htm. Thank you, Terri & Teresa.

In loving memory of
George Virl Osmond October 13, 1917 - November 6, 2007
"A man can have no greater epitaph than that which is inscribed in the
hearts of his friends".

Don't think of him as gone away
his journey's just begun
life holds so many facets-
this earth is only one.

Just think of him as resting
from the sorrows and the tears
in a place of warmth and comfort
where there are no days and years

Think how he must be wishing
that we could know today
how nothing but our sadness
can really pass away.

And think of him as living
in the hearts of those he touched
for nothing loved is ever lost
and he has loved so much.

George Osmond, or "father Osmond" as he's affectionately called by Osmond
fans and friends around the world, was the beloved patriarch of a family
whose support of the Children's Miracle Network began when George and his
dear wife Olive founded this organization in 1983. If you wish to pay
tribute to father Osmond, we encourage you to make a donation to the
Children's Miracle Network. By visiting this link:
http://www.childrensmiraclenetwork.org/donate.php, you will see you have
three options to donate (online, by mail, or by phone). You also have the
opportunity to make your donation in memory of George Osmond. The Osmond
family greatly appreciates your thoughts and prayers, and your desire to pay
tribute to their dear father.
