Rumour has it they will be back to US and Canada in January. I don't
believe that very much right now. I think they have been on the road for a
long time and probably don't want to keep at it for much longer.

Cheers,

Andrea

if they don't come back, this will officially be the most lousy promotional job
they've done for an album in the states. they played no cities out west, and
like what.....5 or so in the east?......skipping two of their biggest fanbases
in boston and philly.

pretty sure they'll be back there in january, unless something happens
between now and then which totally puts them off touring.

This is the website for the theatre in Indianapolis where they were supposed to
play. It says that the show will not be rescheduled and tickets can be returned
for a refund. I think this means they're not coming back. noel was talking
about going back in the studio and they already made shows across the Atlantic
during December. I'm pretty pissed they're not coming back though.

Fuck, I guess that means the Philly show is cancelled as well. That's
fucking bullshit. Treat your fans with a little more fucking respect than
this. We dish out money for every damn thing they put out and they can't
give us the common courtesy of rescheduling the shows? Bullshit.

Missing the point aren't you? They said they didn't want to re-schedule the
Boston, Philly and Indy shows originally because TSOOL didn't have the dates
open.
Now we find out the shows have been cancelled from the papers or the venues
web-sites. They didn't even have the courtesy to post it on Oasisinet.

don't be such a baby.so you wont get to see them, big deal.at least they
went to the us at all. there's plenty of countries that they wont go to at
all.
they'll do another tour of the us sometime. spare a thought for the guys
here from singapore. oasis have never gone to their country, and have
cancelled the gig this year cos of the Bali bomb. quite unlikely that oasis
will ever play there.
you're only missing a concert, and you'll probably play in the us sometime
next year.

they dont have to treat you any way.

they dont owe you common courtesy of rescheduling shows. its their choice
what they do,and dont have to do jack shit just cos you want them to.

I love how the UK people say it's no big deal when they have umpteen
opportunities to see them. If the same thing happened over there, you'd be
pissed as hell. It's easy for you to be all high and mighty when you have
no problem getting singles, DVDs, and you get to see them live almost
yearly. So when we only get to see them once every few years and they
cancel that show, we have every damn right to be pissed off. So get off
your high horse and piss off.

With its size thats not a fair assessment. Most individual states in America
are as big as countries in Europe. So look at it that way...you wouldnt expect
someone from Germany to go see an oasis gig in France or Spain..So you cant
expect a Texas oasis fan to fly all the way to the East coast to see an oasis
gig...just because its a country doesn't mean its small. Fuck, New York State
alone takes about 8 hours to drive North to South and contains around 1/3 of
the British population. Gain a little perspective on how massive the U.S. is
and then comment about how they play here ever year.

you seem to forget what a huge country the states is and how far one must
travel to see a gig. its quite expensive to drive anywhere.

the guy says that they only come to the country every few years.thats not
true, thats what i disagree about.
he also said he can only see them once every few years, yet they play
several times each year.
if he complained that they never come to the west coast or down south, and
he had to drive for ten hours straight to get to the gig, i'd have no
problems with that, but i disagree with what he said as it is completely
infactual.

yeah sure, all the singles are there for insanely high prices, but the
DVD singles cant be gotten by us Americans at all. unless we want to
buy an import dvd player, they wont play on our dvd players.

Overdosed on Teletubbies, Nick Moore thought it'd be a good idea to
post this:

Why do US people always make such a big deal of having to get a player that
runs import discs? Nobody from Europe complains that we're not supposed to
play R1 discs, we get them chipped, end of story. t's not even that
expensive to begin with

It doesn't even matter if you fly or drive to another state...Oasis have
cancelled on me 3 out of 6 times. Once in Indy IN. Once in Dayton OH. Once
in West Palm FL.

I really do wish Oasis will reschedule their latest tour here in America so
I can send in my tiks back or not and get my fuckin money.

And release a fuckin radio single for christ sake!!!

this debate is really pointless-it's a damn shame members of the band were
in an accident in the states and far worse that a club was bombed in bali
and so many people suffered. the fans in both places understand why but
still wish they could have seen the band. aside from the causes, generally
folks in both places feel the same disappointment and it's stupid to argue
over whose is greater. my only beef with oasis over the whole matter is that
they did have a 2 week block of time where they might have honored the 3
cancelled shows in the us and instead noel flew off to some festival to hang
out and party with their opening band. whether it's the band or their
management who made the decision not to honor those dates doesn't matter to
me-when someone enters into a contractual agreement and takes my money to
seal the deal, i expect them to provide what was agreed on-in this case, a
concert. the tour schedule wasn't that grueling-if they needed a break due
to injuries from the accident, i would rather have been told that than fed
some bullshit about how they wanted the same opening band/they were
rescheduling for late fall/early winter...i reckon most folks who are still
suffering the effects of a car crash don't go to festivals so i would say
everyone was fit to play those 3 gigs-as i recall, all 3 shows were sold out
well in advance and it says something to me that the band/management didn't
find them important enough to reschedule. as far as the causes go, you can't
really compare the cancellations in the us with bali-obviously the situation
in bali was precarious at the time-but it doesn't mean everyone's regret
isn't pretty much the same. so can we stop fighting and name calling over
this? bottom line, it sucks all the way around for the fans involved.
