Well Fredik, I checked out your quiz and was most disappointed to the point
of tears and dismay, I have only felt this once before on a stormy Christmas
night when Santa pushed my head into the snow with the the stench of bourbon
on his hot breath. My first qualm arises with your horrendous spelling.
Contrary to what you may have us believe, "Liam" is not spelled "Lamb",
although he is a lamb of Jesus Christ, our Saviour, blessed be he among us.
Please take the time to share in his goodness. My second, and most important
problem came with question 46. I don't use the word "blasphemy" very often
Fredlicker, but in this case I feel that even it is not enough to describe
your disgrace. We are all sinners, but some of us can not be saved. Never
let it be said that I do not like to have my brain teased in all manner
of ways, but I feel the words "scum-farting Nazi" were out of place in the
second paragraph of the question.

Big fan here! I have all 12 import singles, 2 bootlegs, 3 music videos
and of course the 3 ablums. Also, 6 magazines with Oasis on the cover
and about 8 posters. Is that big enough for ya?

No. I have a box that has nothing but Oasis magazines and articles in it.. Last
year I must have spent about $50 buying old clippings from UK tabloids and
other daily newspapers. I'm way behind on my books, though.. I've only got 5.

I've also got about 15 bootlegs, 5 videos.. I've seen them 3 times (drove all
the way to Chicago last weekend--12 hours) and spent $100 on a ticket for the
Atlanta show...when I'd already HAD 2 tickets for it to begin with.

yadda yadda yadda....

Having said that, I don't think the size of one's collection on a band has much
bearing on how big a fan one is. Take for instance my Beatles collection - it's
pretty sparce, yet, I would consider myself a huge fan of them.

Who exactly were you at the Fairfax concert? Maybe I would rememer ya?

Anyhow, which 15 bootlegs do you have? I might be interested in trading
or sending you a tape for me to copy if you did not mind.

I was going to respond to your post and go with you to the Chicago show
because I live here in Louisville. But I did not have the money.

Is the Altanta show a GM concert?

Take Care,

Spoken like a true wiseman. I may own a lot of Oasis schtuff, but that doesn't
make me any more of a fan than someone, such as yourself, who only has the
albums

>Who exactly were you at the Fairfax concert? Maybe I would rememer ya?

Doubtful, but perhaps. Ok.. outside.. I was in the very front of the 2nd row
from the left (facing the building) - I kept walking back and forth from the
line to the parking lot. Umm.. I'm tall (about 6 ft-ish), I've got long brown
hair and I was wearing a brown leather coat.. oh.. and a Smiths t-shirt.
Inside.. I was on the floor in front of the speakers on Noel's side, 2nd "row"

>Anyhow, which 15 bootlegs do you have? I might be interested in trading

That would be doable, yeah! I don't have my list with me at the moment, so
email me back and I'll send it along probably on Monday (I left the disk at
work and I don't feel like going anywhere tomorrow)

>I was going to respond to your post and go with you to the Chicago show

Well, I would've let you have the extra for free, if you'd have driven the rest
of the way to Chicago and then back afterwards. Oh well.. as it turns out I
didn't get the 2 tickets I was supposed to get (I'd turned down the first set
in favour of a better offer---general admission floor..but ended up not finding
the person I was supposed to get them from.. the ticket I did end up getting
was so far away from the stage as for the band to appear as ants - I'd had a
better view at the Nissan Pavillion show in 1996!!!!)

>Is the Altanta show a GM concert?

GM? You mean, GA, right? There are some floor tickets, yeah.. but it's all sold
out now, anyway. I'd offer you the 2 other tickets I have, but I've already
promised them to someone else, in case my first set of companions doesn't work
out

cheers!

Well of course it matters. This proves that your not a BIG fan, because you
don`t own any b-sides! Some of which are better than the album. You should
check them out!

You were right, I do not remember seeing ya. Were you on the entrance
side where the Rock station was with those Chinese people who were
singing Oasis songs?

I was in the far right line near the fornt. I had a K hat on. Stands for
University of Kentucky. I was there with my brother-some say we are
identical. We think otherwise. Also, my friend was with us. He was one
of few black guys there. Kinda BIG.

How did you survive being in the front? We were about 3rd row right in
front of Liam. Unfornately we all got out during Conershops last song
which took fuckin forEVER. We though we were going to die. I did not
mind being crushed. I just did not like it when people started pushing.
Got too dangerous for us.
There were several girls who were crying and begging to be helped out.

I hope they decide to come back in the summer closer to where I live.
Preferably Lexingtong. But Cincy, Dayton, or Indy.

Take Care,

Trent

YEAH! They were in my row. So annoying! And when they sat down at the front
with their guitar...man were THEY ever out of tune!! It was all my friends and
I could do to keep from laughing at them.

>I was in the far right line near the fornt. I had a K hat on. Stands for

Didn't see ya.

>I was there with my brother-some say we are

I DO remember seeing him, though!!! My friend Rikki pointed him out "hey,
there's another black person here TOO!" she said.. said she didn't feel so
conspicuous after that...

>How did you survive being in the front?

When you want something bad enough...you persevere. I wasn't realy right up
front, anyway.. I was closer to the end of the barrier, just out of sight of
Noel, save when he came to the front of the stage. The push wasn't so bad
there...although to listen to this woman who was in front of me, you'd have
thought there wasn't any room to move! Everytime she'd complain, I'd look
around me and wonder who she was referring to!!!

>We were about 3rd row right in
>front of Liam.

Dead center, then! That's where I had wanted to be initially...somewhere
between him and Noel. But I'm glad I was where I was...I was able to move - I
could dance without bumping in to people around me!!

>Unfornately we all got out during Conershops last song

Push back. It shouldn't be like that, but it's the only way to "defend"
yourself. When I saw Radiohead in Philly in August, I actually managed to hold
myself so that there was a space between my body and the barrier at the
front...had huge ass bruises on my arms from doing so, but at least I wasn't
forced to move out from my place.

>I hope they decide to come back in the summer

It'd be nice if they came back in say.. the middle of July. That way I could
catch them in every city across the country as I make my way out to my new home
in California!

Did you still want to trade bootlegs? Email me for my list!

Hey, I was at that show. Didn't it just suck how they made us stand all
the way back from the stage and then made us race to the barrier???
That was horrible. My sister scored a setlist, though, and Thom signed
it.

Yes and no.... I felt bad for those girls who had gotten there at noon that day
who ended up being in the 2nd row and off to the side of center stage
(although, really, they could have run for the center had they really wanted to
be there). but on the other hand, had they not made us stand back, I'd not have
been in the front center..which is really the only place to be. Although, to
the right side at an Oasis show (or Blur) is ideal ;-)
