them off, and Ronan and 'Ponce' turned the thing into a whining match going
on about how the speak for a generation, they're out for a laugh, and how
they 'can' write their own songs. ha..bloody..ha! Respect to Keith Allen for
1) trashing Ronan's voice, 2) putting the bastards in their place and 3)
exposing their weakspot and watching them cry (elevator music!)
pure class...and even though jerusalem is a load of rubbish, respect!

you're right though, Vindaloo was rubbish and Jerusalem is worse. The FA
should have got a decent band to do an official song. I do feel though, that
all bands would be scared of trying to create an anthem to live up to '3

exactly the same is happenning to 'alternative' music. most of the
'indie' bands in the charts are either has-been shadows of bands
that used to be half decent (manics, oasis (imo)) or bands that
have had money thrown at them by big record companies because
they seem to fit the current trands (andreas johnson, muse, travis,
stereophonics)
you just have to ignore it and get on with listening to what *you* like.
