Hey Everyone!
I heard a rumour (now this is *just* a rumour I heard from someone who well,
isn't all that reliable...) that Oasis might do a mini-tour for the B-Side
album...This rumour, I think, was fueled by that ad in Rolling Stone magazine
about the mystery band that is used to playing for thousands of people but will
play for an exclusive audience or something like that...Anyone read about that?
Now that band could be like the Eagles for all we know LOL . Also, this Oasis
tour is supposedly starting next month so I *really* don't know about this, in
fact, I don't even know why I'm asking! but I was wondering if anyone heard
about any mini-tour from Oasis....

If I remember correctly...it was a beer commercial...I think Miller.
Anyhow, there were going to be 2 concerts. One in the U.S. and one in
England. The bands were not mentioned as so it would be a surprise. I
read somewhere that during one of the ads in a magazine...someone used a
magnifying glasss and saw hints..words..phrases...that looked like it
could be Oasis. I think the concert is to take place sometime in
October?

In regards to a b-side tour...a definite must!!!! I know this might
sound....but Oasis owes me. During '96 they cancelled on me in Dayton,
OH on Aug. 23th because they had to do a fuckin rehersal for the MTV
music awards.
Then they fuckin cancelled on me again in West Palm Beach, FL on Sept.
11? because Noel took a fuckin plane back to England and all the rumors
about Oasis breaking up started. And I found this out through MTV news
the night before my friend and I were to leave for Florida. Not to
mention it was a 18 hour drive and I was going to miss classes. I called
my friend immediately and told him the fuckin news and he was pissed
too. I ended up drinking that night only for my roommates to find me
laying in the kitchen with throw-up all over myself. I did skip classes
the next day though! :)

And if I remember correctly...Noel was quoted as saying they were going
to be doing 40 concerts(dates) in the U.S. for BHN. North America which
includes Canada got ONLY 20.

So do I think Oasis should do a b-side tour? Fuckin YES! Not just
because of my anger but because I cannot get enough!!! Can you?

So would that mean that Miller is sponsoring the concert? If so, I hope it's
not Oasis! Corporate-sponsored tours suck! Oasis wouldn't stoop to that
level, would they?

Noel: 'Haha, some geezers just asked me the time!.......It's fucking
Miller time!' :D

R.E.M. would never stoop to that level... Warner Records be damned!!

I doubt Oasis would either... Epic be damned!!

I honestly don't think it's up to the record label what kind of corporate
sponsors they have...I'll have to check into this.....
