Coogan: I slept with Liam

COMIC Steve Coogan has revealed how he ended up in bed with rocker Liam
Gallagher.
Steve - who plays telly twit Alan Partridge - was stunned to find himself
lying next to the Oasis frontman the morning after a booze marathon.
He said: "I remember waking up the next morning on the bed with Liam. I
looked over and thought, 'What happened? Liam Gallagher is lying on my bed.'
"But nothing happened, as far as memory serves me."
He joked: "I was walking kind of funny after that, but that's another
story."
Oasis fan Steve, 37, made his confession on US telly chat show Late Night
with Conan O'Brien.
He told how he had gone on a booze bender with Liam in Ireland - which ended
up with him singing in a hotel dungeon.

Steve explained: "It was a very drunken night.
"We were in this posh hotel castle and went down in the dungeon where there
was a bar.
"There was a woman playing the harp in there and she said to Liam, 'Would
you get up and sing for us? He wouldn't but he told me to get up and sing -
so I did Wind Beneath My Wings.
"The next thing I remember was waking up on top of the bed with him.
"I've felt a bit funny about it ever since."
Dad-of-three Liam, 30, is currently on an Oasis tour and last night played
the Glasgow Brabhead Arena.
Steve this week returned to BBC2 in I'm Alan Partridge - playing the buffoon
who is now working as a DJ on Radio Norwich.
