Now I try to be very nice, and if I say something wrong, tell me.
Does anyone of you have the playlist of "Noel gets to the point"? (I have
looked in the archive of this newsgroup but I couldn't find
anything/searched the web/and I think a newsgroup is there to make
questions, cos without questions a ng couldn't exist/users help users.)

If you don't know it, don't answer me.

I never wanted to make a bad impression to you, maybe I have said something
wrong, but I didn't want to. So sorry for this!
And I think the main reason Alan Copper treats be bad is, cos he doesn't
like germans. Do you really think I am a Hitler boy or something like that?
Just because I am german? I think this is ridiculous.

So way off the mark it's untrue!

Have you read anything lately?

I have learned german to the point of taking a university course on the
language

I own and breed German Shepherd Dogs

I have been to germany a total of 8 times on holiday, I have friends there.
I've been twice with school and the other 6 as a holiday / go to the
Bundessieger ZuchtSchau

Rafael, please be careful with your statements. I have been around in
this newsgroup for about 2 months now (so i am quite a newbie myself),
everybody knew from the beginning that I am German, and I never had
any problems with anybody here neither in general nor especially with
Alan. I always had the impression that Alan is a nice young guy. I
never ever came across any Anti-German attitude here. In contrary, I
felt welcomed and treated friendly, though I am not only German, but
also much older than the majority here.

People here normally are very polite, nice and helpful to each
other., Though there are occasiaonlly "fights".
We have a lot of oldtimers and regualrs here who know each other quite
well. and as in every group (just like in real life) it is expected
that new people behave decent, respect the rules, respect the exisitng
relationships and maybe watch the whole situation a little bit before
drawing a lot of attention at them.
But this is true for most NG in the Internet.

If you want to enjoy this NG. please rethink YOUR attitude. Somehow
you got here with the wrong foot first.

i'm sorry i don't know myself and i just checked on a few sites i normally
use for info but no luck... :( however, i do know Scott has the bootleg and
i'm sure others here do, so i'm sure someone will sort you out with the
setlist as soon as they get a chance... :)

no prob-these things happen. JA explained some stuff to us-you've got a good
friend there in your corner... :)

aw, don't say or think stuff like that-i'm quite sure you being German
doesn't make a bit of difference to anyone here! i've got relatives in
Germany myself...

Just the opposite side, in a little village south of Munich in the
Alps.
If you are interested in skiing, the little village, where most of the
German female ski team come from: Lenggries.

Thanx very much! But now I have a little problem :-) I have these songs, but
then I also have got Wonderwall and Live Forever, could it be that they are
also of "Noel gets to the Point"? Because they are called: Noel gets to the
Point Wonderwall/Live Forever. If yeah, I think Live Forever is the last
one.

But anyway thanks mate!

Alan, I do not know Rafael's age, but i have the impression he is
quite young, while you are out of your nappies, so I think the best
would be, let it rest and give him a secomd chance. If you look at his
last posts, he tries.
We know you are not a racist,!
Knowing how seldom english native speakers actuall take the trouble of
learning a foreign language at University level, I declare you a
"none-racist". Being surely the methusalem of the NG. I have the
right and authority to do this.
J.A,

Which parts of germany do you normally visit?

It really depends on how you act, when you are in an other country or
when you meet people of other countries (in reality or in the web).

I have travelled a lot all my live (when I was at university with
almost no money, nowadays with a little more luxury) in Europe, Asia,
in the US and central America, and never ever had a problem. But I
often was ashamed how other German travellers behaved.

Ballermann in Mallorca a nightmare for me!

The way you write it, you got this knowlegde just from TV. TV is not
real live. TV tends to simpilify things.

I always found people who travel and expose themselves to different
cultures much more interesting and tolerant.

Even in this little village here, where I am well integrated, my best
friends are a group of expats from different countries.

You will find prejudices in all countries, the best way to decrease
this problem is travelling and meeting people with an open mind.

This NG can be a good place to start.

It wasn't a dig at Rafael, it was a reference to when I called Niklas
Niklass by accident.

I have friends in Arnsberg so I went there twice, both as a school trip
.
The sieger dog show is held in a different city each year, so I go where
that is - last time I was there 2 years ago it was Nurnberg, have been to
Dusseldorf 2 times, Frankfurt (really did not like that place at all),
Mannheim (was only little at the time but it was beautiful), and Dortmund
twice

Right enough, being Scottish gives me the birth-right of hating Michael Owen
for snatching an undeserved equaliser for England

I'll keep my comments to myself on this as i don't really like
football. Michael Owen seems as thick as a tree stump to me though.

My dad supports celtic though!
