It's Numan, darling.

>NIN is on this? TRENT? what's going on here?

It's the end of the world, obviously.

Haven't you figured out yet that Trent is a cheeseball at heart and
probably worships the "Cars" remixes?

yes, only once, as far as i know. it was at the huntridge theater in nevada
on 3-14-94. but when you listen to it, you hear why he didn't perform it at the
other shows. it sounded really sloppy.

i think he's talking to someone else. my best guess as to how to interpret the
lyrics would be: your religion, with all the ceremony and formalities and rules
and hate it preaches is, imho, not correct, and i don't believe that if a
supreme being exists, he wouldn't be like that. and if i'm incorrect, and your
supreme being punishes me to an eternity of crappy things being done to me, i
would still prefer that to being a suck-up to a god that would damn an entire
segment of earth's population because they didn't pay homage to him in just the
right way. (okay, so i threw in a bit of my own opinions, but that's pretty
much the way i interpret that).

almost every bootleg for sale lies. incorrect track listings, misspellings,
wrong shows. they usually just use the information provided to them by whoever
did the taping, and they're only concerned with making money, so they could give
a fuck. it's just something all of us have to live with.

Greetings,

I believe that Trent is talking to the religious finatic nut. What he is
saying is that "Your god" the god of man made rules and like said
previously, ceremony, ritual, discrimination, etc. is dead. We are the
new breed, believing in a real God, a god of love and justice, as
dictated directly from the bible, not corrupted by man's little
sub-religions, and sub-rules. You see, there is a difference between
being religious and being spiritual. Trent is spiritual, not religious.
Hope this is clear enough.

Later,
Sliver
