MaxPIE v3.1 or WinMX Group 3.54b4+patch ?

Hi all,

WinMX show that there is an update. If I click on it, it takes me to the
MaxPIE v3.1 patch. Yet, other users here point to WinMX Group which shows
v3.54b4+patch. I'm confused. Which one should I apply ?

The Pie patch is newer

Winmx group :: installer containing both winmx 3.53 and 3.54B (final
releases before the lawyers stepped in) and installs appropriate for your
OS, and patch version 2.2, or manual install of patch 2.2
Pie patch, :: Installer containing just the patch version 3.1, or manual
install of patch 3.1
