Win 8.1 & WinMX 3.54 / oledlg.dll

I thought "Give it a try"and so I copied the latest oledlg.dll into the folder
C:\Program Files (x86)\Winmx
For a week it seemed to work like a charm.
No unwanted files.
Was all this happening by coincidence only?
At the moment all the rubbish is back again.
Any solution to avoid those files?
