Enjoy one of our melodic trance remixes, as we take Edward Maya's wonderful 'This is my life' midrange and mix it up heavily with the vocal 'Where you Wanna Go' from Mischa Daniel and its dance-feel bassline. Diverging from the normal ordering, Edward Maya's twangy chords feature heavily, adding a modern feel to generate a classic club sound. Designed to be strong throughout, this is a mainline dance floor track with constant builds and a particularly sub-friendly bassline. Your bass system had better be in order to handle the loads of this remix!

The actual mixing takes us from "Where you Wanna go" featuring vocals and midrange from "this is my life", to actually switching to "this is my life" and further featuring vocal loops from where you wanna go , along with some nice insertion of the bass-cut peaks from the 'other' song as I alternate between the two to create the mash up.

Towards the end of the track I chop up the vocal interspersion to create a more aggressive sound. Overall this comes off as a laid back but trancey summer 2011 track!! hope you enjoy as much as I enjoyed making it!


Love Shy 2011 Kristine Blonde vs Axwell - Nothing But Love For You (RemixEvolution)

I've been dying to make an updated remix of Kristine Blonde's timeless Love Shy and when Axwell's new 'Nothing but Love for you' came out I knew they would go together well. This is a reasonably serious reworking of the entire midrange of the track and most of the ordering including some audio loops and sequencing. The real mixing work begins around 1:59 however it's well worth listening through as it sets the tempo nicely in the beginning. The first mid injection of Nothing But Love for You sounds completely at home amongst the vocals of Love Shy, and we revisit similar arrangements 3 times during the mix. These two tracks naturally compliment each other but have to be prevented from clashing. The particular timing exhibited in the mix is judged perfectly and allows both tracks to be enjoyed simultaneously. A sudden bassline shift sets the second half of the track up for a progressive rebuild that peaks nicely and updates Love Shy to Summer 2011 standards ready for some serious celebrations! This remix track was in the middle of a mix set I produced in the middle of the night a few weeks ago and was plucked from the abyss for your enjoyment here!


Meck Feels Like A Prayer 2011 720p - Life is a Mystery remix Rene Amesz vs RemixEvolution

This absolutely gorgeous sounding remix happened in only two attempts as the source track was expertly composed by Rene Amesz and Meck in the first place. Having turned it into a more industrial sounding, aggressive mix that just won't give up, this takes Madonna's classic vocal to new club-inspired heights! You'll notice build up/rebuild comes with a different vocal timing offset and as such sounds like one long ramp up with a glorious vocal peak. The intro to the track starts off with a slowed bpm to match the original Madonna track then is increased as part of the vocal ramp up before beginning the 130bpm bassline. Just when you think the mix has nowhere to go, it surprises you with its strong composition and bassline.


Produced primarily in CEPro and Virtual DJ 6 this was layered multiple times and filtered before the mixdown. It has a few clean vocal overlaps and some sample loops.


Definitely a huge remix for Summer 2011!! Brought to you in HD / HQ 720p and 44100khz this is a high quality source track remix that has been volume matched and normalised as much as possible in a realistic timeframe. This is a new favourite of mine for sure!
