Always will be MICKY DOLENZ!!!!!
Kathy :-)

Boy, that's a toughy. Davy had the Broadway training but Mike had the
country/western twang. I'll go with Mike by a Monkee's paw.

Micky was very good, still has a great voice.
David Jones has gotten better with age,
and to me is the BEST NOW out of all of
them.

This is true.....I marvel at the way he can change his style from country to
contemporary in one set.

I agree with you there.......and I think Mike would agree with you too....in
"Elephant Parts", he spoofed a lounge singer.

I think Peter would sound much better if he stayed in his own range....I'm no
choral teacher, but I think he's a very good bass (he sounded excellent in Riu
Chiu as a bass), or somewhere in a lower range.
Davy would sound alot better if he worked on his nasal twang (?), he should
concentrate on singing from the chest instead of the head. He would also
benefit if he laid off the Broadway style of singing while singing a rock
ballad (or any rock song for that matter).
Micky is the best singer of the Monkees, but I fear he is losing the mellowness
of his voice these days........he sounds a little harder and a bit more bitter?
I wish he would go back to his style of yesteryear.
