I watched the Video Ranch virtual concert from Nez this Memorial day.
It was cool.

His band was very tight and added some new styles to his music. The
set list included "Crusin", Different drum", "Laugh Kills Lonesome",
"Rays", and "Rio". Nez was in good but not great voice. He talks the
songs much more than he used to. However, he still hit the high note
on "Joanne". It was a tight 70 minute set.

Glad to see him back on stage again.

I listened to the simulcast on KPIG and enjoyed it. It was good to hear
him play and sing again. The band sounded great.

Note to Videoranch: you need to ease up -- a lot -- on the virtual
audience noise. It sounds too artificial and calls too much attention to
itself. A small invited crowd can supply enough noise to remind
everybody that the performance is live.

Is this performance archived on Videoranch? Can't find it.

Don't know. The Videoranch 3D FAQ says that are events are not replayed
"at this time". Perhaps someone who ventures into Videoranch 3D may be
able to tell us more.
