Peter, on his own site and Facebook, has been guardedly optimistic about his
vocal recovery, but my question is this (more for those who are still
involved with the guys, but anybody please chime in):
Either out of sympathy, empathy, or the true familial, brotherly affection
they all have shared at varying times, do you feel the others might be ready
to put aside all the petty and pointless childishness (I just saw Davy's
head snap up and look furtively from side to side), and reunite when Peter
feels strong enough to play? While we all hope and pray that he will someday
sing again, I believe that only the cold embrace of death will still the
music in his fingers.
They've all said, at different times, that "The Monkees" is like a
(disfunctional?) family, or like the survivors of something unpleasant. I
would have difficulty believing their hearts aren't broken by whats
happening to him. Is this what will (re)unite them?

Why do we have to wait for him? Maybe some of the proceeds can go
toward his medical expenses.

Didn't he sing somewhere the other week?

Oh, well, all families have a degree of dysfunction. Par for the
course.
