Nez only doing 1 Monkees song on solo tour

News from the Spring Tour and Nez Live music.
Chris Scruggs just signed on for steel, mandolin, and 6 string. Great addition. So excited to have him.
This is a you tube video of him playing western swing on a lap steel -- I chose it because you can get a good look at Chris, and because the bass player/drummer has the coolest gadget for playing rhythm -- check out the brush pad on the upright bass just behind Chris.
So the line up is Me, Joe Chemay, bass, Paul Leim, drums and rhythms, Boh Cooper, keys -- and now Chris Scruggs.
Welcome Chris.
No western swing on the Spring Tour; only one Monkees song; rest is all Nez stuff from the last -- (ahem) half century.
Daughter Jess has signed on for Tour Managing, Merch, and Moral support. Joy of Joys. Thank heaven for grown-up girls.
Off to Nashville for rehearsals next week.
Tickets are on sale now pretty much for all venues.
Live music is a quirky job but somebody's gotta do it.

released on the original albums, or even Different Drum which did originally
appear (sort of :-) on the TV show.
I'm surprised he would choose Papa Jeans Blues rather than Listen to the
Band though.
