Looking for a reasonably priced combination piano/organ keyboard made of
piezoelectric flexible plastic that you can roll up for portability and
play on any flat surface. (Such plastics respond to pressure, putting
out a proportional voltage.) The electronic 'guts' should be portable
DVD-player-size, with a DVD drive, and with outputs to any TV or
computer display. An option should include built-in organ functions,
too, with a full-scale rollup organ pedalboard. :) -- John

My nomination for the first DVD to play on this setup: A Voyetra
production (or any company) of a video 'play-along' series. That is, the
DVD will have a selection of video/audio options (Mozart, Bach, etc.)
recorded with an orchestra, piano, organ, etc. You could pipe the output
of the DVD machine into your projection (or any) TV, and select
'play-along" with the on-screen menu. That cuts off only the piano/organ
audio track and optionally displays the score at the bottom of the
screen. Another teaching mode lets you view the fingering of the DVD
performer while you play along. A subsection has a complete piano
instruction course using all these feature and more. :) -- John
