MIDI Explorer, a MIDI seeking robot, has completed his latest voyage
through the MIDI Universe and now reports over 1 million MIDI files
on 94,000 MIDI pages at his noise-free search engine
(http://musicrobot.hypermart.net).

This search engine offers unique MIDI-specific searches for finding
songs.

1) Dictionary search: accounts for many renamed files - just type in
the starting significant letters. The search engine will organize the
result for you using both file names and song names that start with
these letters.

2) Common Songs: Organize by length to find all different versions of
a song (different versions have different lengths).

3) All MIDIs returned a file lengh at the site with the page that
referenced them - meaning that they they actually existed at that
server.

4) To find sites with music that interests you, search for tunes that
interest you and then explore the sites that have them.

Well over half of the songs requested in the NG can be quickly found
using this tool.

Downside - You have to know the name of the song you are interested in
(Seaching for artist does not work well).
