Logic 5.5 a Mac and Alesis ?

I sit here with with a nice setup:
MAC Tibook running OS X
Logic Platinum 5.5
Alesis QS8 synth connected via midisport 2X2
MAC Tibook running OS X
Logic Platinum 5.5
Alesis QS8 synth connected via midisport 2X2
It all works fine except i can't find how to get the Alesis sound names
to show in Logic, i tried to "import environment" but still the sounds
aren't there, just "GM device"
The synth plays fine but it's a pain to find the right sounds
Anyone with a hint to share ?
