Back on topic, I was surprised to find that many of Michael Jackson's best songs we not written by him.

Anyone have an accurate count of the songs M.J. did write?

Even a band as big as Aerosmith has had others writing their music. They
write some, but not all.

IDK why it matters so much.

I didn't know that about Aerosmith, either...

Most bands don't write all their own music. Ah? hm.
It is just a well known fact.

Did some research, and Aerosmith does write the majority of their stuff
though.

I think Prince wrote all his own songs, or most, for example.

Not knocking Michael Jackson, I just thought when he was singing those songs, he was making a personal statement, that he had written.

Most of the artists I listen to most, or enjoy most write or wrote most of their own songs.

My question is which songs did Michael Jackson actually write himself, anyone know?

I do not know.

Of the songs he claimed to write, how many were co-written? If Mr.
Jesus Juice did as little as add a "heee heeee" he would take a
writing credit.

I
remember there was a KOP page that had these stats. I need to look it
up. If I find it, I'll post back here.
