LOS ANGELES - Even in death, Michael Jackson's corpse wasn't safe:
Gruesome details from his autopsy were reported in a London newspaper
Monday.
The Sun of London report painted a tragic picture of a 50-year-old man
so frail he weighed only 112 pounds and whose stomach contained no food
- just semidigested pills.
Several of Jackson's ribs were broken in the frantic attempt to pump
life back into his heart. Four needle wounds were near his heart,
apparently from failed efforts to restart it by shooting adrenaline
directly into the organ.
Jackson had lost most of his hair, and his haggard face was disfigured
by 13 plastic surgeries, The Sun said.
His emaciated hips, thighs and shoulders were riddled with needle marks,
the paper said.
However, lawyers said Sunday that claims that Jackson's doctor injected
the King of Pop with a powerful painkiller just before his death are
"absolutely false."
"There was no Demerol. No OxyContin," Matt Alford, lawyer for Dr. Conrad
Murray, told the Daily News.
Instead, Murray tried desperately to save the troubled superstar, who
still had a pulse when the doctor found him unconscious in bed Thursday,
lawyers said. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation failed to revive him.
Murray was grilled by cops for three hours Saturday and was allowed to
go free. "He was very cooperative," said LAPD Officer Norma Eisenman.
Alford said Murray, who lives in Las Vegas, would stay in Los Angeles in
case the police need more from him, but that no further interviews were
scheduled.
The Los Angeles coroner's office said a preliminary investigation showed
no evidence of foul play. Toxicology tests will take weeks to complete.
A second, private autopsy was completed Sunday and may produce faster
results.
NBC reported that while no Demerol or OxyContin were found in the house,
Jackson was taking sleep aids and anti-anxiety medications.
Murray attracted suspicion by vanishing in the chaotic hours after
Jackson's death. Cops towed his car to search for evidence.
"He went to a friend's house on the advice of a previous lawyer to get
away from the press crush at the hospital," Alford said.
Jackson's family remains suspicious of Murray, according to the Rev.
Jesse Jackson, who is advising the family.
"The doctor did not confer with the family. To say, 'Here is what
happened in the last hours of your son's life,' that would have been the
courtesy," Jackson told People magazine.
"He didn't talk with the coroner. And then he was missing in action.
Finally, when he surfaced, he surfaced with a lawyer. All these are
rather bizarre actions," Jackson said.

I feel bad for the family but they can't spin this death. MJ abused
prescription drugs and his health for years. That's why he died.
The Demurol false rumor came from Jackson's family. They are trying to
place blame on the doctor for something that was ultimately MJ's
responsibility.

Mmmmmm, yeah, right. The drug-dealing doctor's lawyer says that there
was no Demerol or Oxy in the house. That's why it's called "covering
your tracks."
I wonder if he flushed the stuff right there or if he took it with him
and disposed of it during that window of time when no one could find
him.

I live in Canada where the first thing they ask you is "where does it
hurt?" [Thank you Kiefer Sutherlands grandfather....] In fact,
Thursday 2AM I woke up and couldn't breath. Sharp chest pains but no
clamy feeling. The ambulance took me to the local hospital which did
all the necessary blood work / x-rays then immediately transferred me
to the city. CT Scans, ultrasound on my veins in the limbs, more
bloodwork and being pumped full of Hepron blood thinner as every
initial test said I had a pulminary embolism, which was ner found.
Saturday night at 11PM the ambulance brought me back from the city,
400 mile round trip, and threw me back in my bed.
No charge. No "credit check". Nuttin' outta my pocket.

Your taxes may be slightly lower (debatable) but what health care you do
provide is costing you more than it costs us...and we cover EVERYONE.
And no one in Canada is sent home to die because they can't afford a
surgery or treatment.

That's their Murder weapon of choice. I watch Columbo, so I know these things....

There are a lot of people in jail simply because they 'made a mistake', ...
"mistake" is not a 'get-out-of-jail' card.
If you go see a doctor, and he mistakenly cuts off your left leg instead
of your right leg...don't worry about it, ...it was just a mistake.
Go back the next day and get the other leg cut off...and tell him,
"Don't worry Doctor, it was just a mistake."

majority of people agree with me, and they don't all have "hard ons" for

jailed, either. Or that all airline pilots, train engineers, or bus
drivers who are involved in accidents should be jailed. Do you think I

I can imagine a Twilight Zone or an X-Files episode where Muldar is
reviewing old photographs and pointing out to Scully that all the famous
celebrities who died from prescription over dose had the same doctor. Maybe
even all the famous people who died in plane crashes had the same pilot.
There's a story there somewhere.

LOS ANGELES - Detectives investigating the death of Michael Jackson are looking at his prescription
drug history and trying to talk with his numerous former doctors, the Los Angeles police chief said Thursday.

The DEA is pushing local officials to make an example out of the doctors
who wrote the prescriptions. Others in Jackson's orbit who allowed their
names to be used to acquire prescription drugs that ultimately went to
Jackson will also be charged. There will be show trials.
It's no secret that celebrities can get any prescription drugs they
want. So it's ridiculous to cast a celebrity as an innocent victim of an
unscrupulous doctor.

Celebrities are *innoncent*! They do not know the dangers of the drugs that doctors give them.

Michael Jackson wasn't murdered. He killed himself by engaging in
numerous self-destructive behaviors. If his doctors hadn't given him
prescription drugs he would have gotten them through another means or
switched to street drugs.
