Mariah Carey has a very special fan - the new president of the United
States.
Barack Obama's wife Michelle played the singer's 1993 hit Hero to him
before the election results were announced.
A friend of Mariah's said: "She was blown away when she heard. She is
so honoured to have played her part in such an occasion."

And Obama is not Mariah's only famous fan. The diva's arrival in
London yesterday to promote her greatest hits album has caused quite a
stir with the X Factor contestants.
Mariah will sing on the show this week while the rivals will each have
to cover one of her songs.
We just hope they're not all too stagestruck to perform.

OIC how interesting that as long as YOUR favorite pop diva is involved
you suddenly care about the outcome of the "election of our masters"
as you put it in another post and you seem by the nature of what you

I think it is pretty clear from the effort I put in this forum of
condemning Mr. Obama, as an exploiter, that I didn't care about the
political outcome of the elections that our Masters pay on us. I
posted this article because I knew it would piss people off.

Ms. Carey is admirable, that's beyond question.
