Never before in Dallas has there been such an exciting and unusual
event as the ***PRE-RELEASE EVENT*** of the MIGHT UKE documentary.

MIGHTY UKE is the story of the amazing resurgence and explosion of
Ukulele popularity worldwide.

Here you’ll see the origins of the humble four-stringed soundbox from
the cavaquinho of Portugal, and into the popularity in the US
everywhere from vaudeville to early jazz, novelty music and through
its use today in indie pop groups.

Everyone’s playing the Uke – THIS IS OUR STORY.
Features great music and eccentric performers both legitimate and
seriously wacky. All the “GREATS” of our time and times past are
celebrated in this documentary.

I saw this movie on 5-22-10 in Madison, Ct. A very good movie. I
really enjoyed it. James Hill was there and a small group of people
were standing in front of the theater waiting for someone to come and
open it up. James was kind enough to have his picture taken with
me. :-)
Thank you James.
