It's hard getting started recording your own music, especially if you
don't know a lot of musicians or producers. I know that when I was
growing up there was absolutely no one in my hometown that I could go
to for help with recording... at least not anyone I was comfortable
with. It took years to learn how to get a decent sound, and I'm still
learning every day. I've just started a blog on home recording that
you might want to check out.
