Just checking to see if this old computer still works. Drop in here.
See this. Think, good for him. No, seriously, no sarcasm intended.
I'm glad he isn't dead or something. To have made it this far he's no
doubt grown up a little.

Now, on to things that matter in my life :-)

This sure seems to be getting a bit bizarre to say the very least.

I'm looking, half hartedly, for a some cheapo laptop that can be used
for usenet access. My new macs just won't do it. But I could buy a pc
and set it up just to do usenet. Heck, maybe there are even some apps
that would run in linux. Boy that would be sweet. Just the excuse I'd
need to put a linux machine together.

Nick . . . who cares. At this point in my life, he is only in my
memory as entertainment. If I cared, I might still wonder what the
point of blowing this forum up was ? But I don't care. I drop by now
and then because the links are still here in this old computer. Turn
it on once and a while to see if it still works.

I'm past caring about a big house, or some shiny leased car.
Millionare ? So what. I have friends I work with and talk to every day
that are millionares. What do they care about, worry about ? Well,
it's not their net worth. It's health, and family, and the few friends
they still count among the living.

There's a line in an old country song, " Money can't buy back your
youth when you're old. Or a friend when you're lonely, or a love that's
grown cold. " Believe it, there's a lot of truth in those words.

And with that said, I'm off to scrounge around the net for things that
interest me.

catch ya all later :-)
