Thats what I like, can beat any price !!!! great start, we used to get that
with Newbie DJs who would turn up at a disc with their Alba Stereo, two
plastic look alike decks they had got from Tandys and no mic. Then turn
round to the bride & groome and say don't play that sort of music !!!!!
Remeber some of us do this a living !!!!

I am a professional DJ and i have been for 6 years. Karaoke is a new
venture to incorporate into my already thriving business, and i wouldn't be
seen dead with 2 alba hi-fi's and a pair of speakers (even though i do know
of someone who uses two hi-fi's)
All I'm asking for is a bit of help. And being as I'm already spending £50+
on CD's a week, the cheaper I can get CDG's for the better.

PS - New discussion - what's the shittest equipment you've ever seen a DJ
use? I reckon them little sets of 4 lights from Tandy, with two tape decks
and a hi-fi. (the guy i know who does this charges £60 a night!!!!)

they'd do the show for $300 for 4 hours", and I charge $450. I always tell
them, "This is my price and I'm worth it!" I've decided that the parties I
want to book are with the people who want to spend the amount I'm charging.
After 15 years as a mobile, if they don't wanna pay my price, I'd rather not go
out! Of course, I do have a M-F/8-5 job and just DJ on the weekends, so I can
afford to not worry about missing a show here or there.
