Is there anybody who can help me to the Latin lyrics of the song
'Gaudeamus igitur' . I need them for a lecture that i supposed to give
a.o. the Academical Festiveloverture of Johannes Brahms. It will be very
helpful for me if that lyrics can be integrated in my lecture about
classicel music.
My name is William E.J. Tjon Appian and my e-mail address is

Gaudeamus igitur, iuvenes dum sumus
Post iucundam iuventutem
Post molestam senectutem
Nos habebit humus

Ubi sunt qui ante nos in mundo fuere ?
Vadite ad superos
Transite ad inferos
Ubi iam fuere

Vita nostra brevis est, brevi finietur
Venit mors velocriter
Rapit nos atrociter
Nemini parcetur

Vivat Academia, vivant professores
Vivat membrum quodlibet
Vivant membra quaelibet
Semper sint in flore

Vivant omnes virgines, graciles, formosae !
Vivant et mulieres
Tenerae, amabiles,
Bonae, laboriosae !

Vivat et respublica et qui illam regit !
Vivat nostra civitas
Maecenatum caritas
Quae nos hic protegit !

Pereat tristitia, pereant osores
Pereat diabolus
Quivis antiburchius
Atque irrisores !

Note: every first and last line is repeated.
