You Ought To Be In Pictures

Someone please help me.  I am looking for the song "You Ought To Be In Pictures" and cannot find it anywhere.  I have searched many a search engine and have had no luck.  I am currently directing a theatre production of Neil Simon's I Ought To Be In Pictures and was hoping to use the song in the show.  If anyone knows who sang it and what albums it is on I would truly appreciate it.  You would be a considerable help and if you live in the Chicago area I will give you complimentary tickets to the show.

then type in your title, and the first hit showed a cd collection by
Brenda Lee with the requested song among the tracks.

You can check several other cd sites like E-music and Amazon, etc.

I cannot remember the title of the movie, but I do recall it being in
some Zigfield Follies Type movie, you know lots of pretty girls, musical
of the Black and white era.

Now I'll check NMPA and see if I can get the composer/s. They don't hold
a copyright, so it may be public domain. Although one should check
ASCAP, you will have to wrestle with the ethics on that one.
