Hello...hopefully my editor will work this time...

I'm looking at the sheet music to "Africa" and the line is....

"I know that I must do what's right, sure as Kilimanjaro rises like
Olympus above the Serengeti."

I hope this puts the 'empress/leopress' theories to rest. 'Course if
my sheet music's wrong...oh, well.

Heh, this is really funny. O.k., so now we've found 3 sources that
state 3 different words. (wish I could tell you my source offhand, I had
a friend send me an e-mail with the lyrics and I don't remember where he
got them) Don't get me wrong, I'm not persuing this matter by insisting
I'm right. I just cant hear the word "empress" no matter how hard I
try. :( It sounds more like "Olympus" then "empress" to me, but that's
such an odd mix of Greek and African imagery! *Sigh* anyone out there
know any members of Toto? :)

Wow! I didn't mean to atart such a long debate with this
request. These leopress/empresss/Olympus lyrics have always been giving
me trouble, and I can't find the sheet music for the song anywhere.
Maybe I'll try snail-mailing the band (who knows -- it's worked in the past).

YES!!! THAT'S IT!! God, that makes a lot more sense than anything
I've heard in recent years. Thank you SO MUCH for clearing up the
"empress/leopress" theories. Personally, I always thought it was
"a memphis", but "Olympus" makes a lot more sense!
