The song was done by Ronny and the Daytonas, 1964. It is available on
Rhino records label on the Billboard Top Hits 1964. I believe Rhino has a
WEB site.

I remember the start

Little G.T.O,
you sure look fine
3 dueces and a four-speed
and a 389
gonna take her to the ______
gonna let her shine,

when I turn it on, tach it up, blow it out
G.T.O.

chorus:
(wah, wah)
yeah, yeah, little g.t.o (repeat)

it beats the gassers and the rail jobs,
leaves them all behind (?)
gonna take her out to Pomona
really let her shine (?)

I may have the old 45 around. It I get a chance this weekend, I'll see
if I can find it in the garage.

Regards,
Tom Penfield
