Hi all... well I have this song stuck in my head, and it's
killing me. Killing me because I only know this one line of
the chorus and I've been singing it over and over again
cause (now you see my problem) BECAUSE, I don't know the
rest of the words. Ok, so here's the line, it's a male
singer, sort of like Dan Fogelberg (I've searched his lyrics
sites and nothing looks familiar, so I don't think it's him,
but could be wrong... anyway, he's a singer LIKE that, or
maybe Jackson Browne...? who knows) point is: it's a guy
with kinda long dark hair. This song came out in the 80's
between 82-85. The song is neither slow nor fast, (again,
sort of Jackson Brownish/Fogelbergesque) Chorus and only
line I keep singing is: "It (This?) is a fine fine day for
a reunion. It's a fine fine day for coming home..." And
there you have it. The Tell Tale Song. If anyone could
just tell me who did it, I could track down the lyrics on my
own. Thanks! mamu

WOO HOO!!! I found the lyrics!
Song is A Fine Fine Day by Tony Carey (who's he? who cares,
kinda long dark hair, looks like Dan Fogelberg minus the beard)

It's a Fine, Fine Day,
for a reunion.
It's a Fine, Fine Day,
for comin' home.
You did your sittin',
you did hard time.
But you ain't gonna sit no more,
they can't keep you there no more.
It's a Fine, Fine Day
And nothin's gonna take it,
nothin's gonna take it away
It's a Fine, Fine Day.
