Glass Onion by the Beatles
Onion Girl by Holly Cole
...but I'm looking for songs that either have ONION in the title or
somewhere in the song itself. Can't remember the artist that did
"Onions, Onions", so we can start there.
Thanks oodles!

British group the Jazz Butcher Conspiracy has a song called "The Onion
Field" on their "Cult Of The Basement" album, but I think it's about a
place called the Onion Field, not about onion fields as such.
And finally, "Tiger" by Fabian has these lines:
"You keep my heart jumpin' like a kangaroo
Floatin' like an onion in a bowl of stew"
"...and onions"

Here's what I found:
Screamin' Jay Hawkins - Yellow Coat:
A forty gallon hat
And some polka-dot shoes.
Tomato pickin' onion juice...
The Ink Spots - Java Jive:
A slice of onion and a raw one, draw one.
Greetings,
Erich

I Love Onions
I don't like snails, or toads, or frogs
Or strange things living under logs
But, mmm, I love onions.
I don't like dancin' with crazy Ted
He's always jumpin' on my head,
But, mmm, I love onions.
Onions, onions, la la la.
Onions, onions, ha ha ha.
Root toot doodle-ee-oot doot doo doot.
Onions, onions, la la la.
Onions, onions, ha ha ha.
Root toot doodle-ee-oot doot doo doot.
I don't like rain, or snow, or hail
Or Moby Dick (the great white whale),
But, mmm, I love onions.
I don't like shoes that pinch your toes
Or people who squirt you with a garden hose,
But, mmm, I love onions.
Onions, onions, la la la.
Onions, onions, ha ha ha.
Root toot doodle-ee-oot doot doo doot.
Onions, onions, la la la.
Onions, onions, ha ha ha.
Root toot doodle-ee-oot doot doo doot. Yeah!
The onion is a tuberous vegetable
And is a member of the genus stinkus delicioso.
It was highly prized by the ancient Egyptian pharaohs
And their friends and cousins-a.
They cause watering of the eyes and rubifaction of the skin
But it is very, very tasty.
Ha, ha.
Onions, onions, la la la.
Onions, onions, ha ha ha.
Root toot doodle-ee-oot doot doo doot.
Onions, onions, la la la.
Onions, onions, ha ha ha.
Root toot doodle-ee-oot doot doo doot.
How vewwy, vewwy cwude!
