Looking for songs containing the name Sherry, or even the word "cheri",
and not just in the title.

Two which pop to my mind are:

Steve Perry's "Oh, Sherry"
Stevie Wonder's "My Cheri Amour" (is that the actual title?)

Please respond direct to my e-mail address, as I don't check newsgroups
too often. Remove *NOSPAM* from address to reach me.

Thanks!

Sam, I'm not sure if the songs with the single name "Sherry" are all the
same one or not, and the same goes with the single name "Cherie". I hope
this help though.

Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. Its mentioned earlier in the thread. I sang
it in the shower before puberty made my voice change.

"Sheerrreeee, She eh eh eh ree, bay ay bee" (sherri baby)
I can't remember who sings it, but it is done in a high falsetto
and kind of a doo-wop style.

There was one sung by a female artist back in the early 1960's...I don't think she was very popular but I wondered if you know who the artist is?
