Anyone know the title of the song and the artist who performs it? It's a fairly recent song - gets played a lot
on the radio these days

I am not sure if this is the song you are
referring to, but Cracker has a song
called "Low" which contains the following
lyrics:

"Blue blue is the sun...
Brown brown is the sky...
Green green are her eyes"

Is this it? Probably not. But I thought
I'd try to help...

Could it be "Dear Prudence" by the Beatles?

Just another try in the same vein: "the grass was greener" is contained
in the title track of "The Division Bells" by Pink Floyd, if I'm not wrong,
which, indeed, still gets enough play on the radios.

My suggestion... is the song called "In The Meantime" by Spacehog... in
the chorus it says "Where lands are green, and skies are blue... all in all
we're just like you, we love the all of you" Awesome song, I'm almost
positive thatZ what you're looking for.

man, you all miss the mark by a mile.

"In the Meantime" by Spacehog. Cd is called "Resident Alien" but I found it to be quite booring.
They just did Letterman & the lead singer/basist wore a skirt. It caught David off guard.
