It`s a one hit wonder from 1973 from a band called King Harvest. It is
on some 70`s compilation CD`s including Rhino`s HAVE A NICE DAY Vol.
17....(Van Morrison`s song is called Moondance, by the way...)

It's by King Harvest, and the title is "Dancing in the Moonlight."
The lyrics server at http://www.lyrics.ch gives some of the lyrics
and the guitar chords for this song. They say it's from a "non-album
