I've been receiving a correction for the Notorious B.I.G./Mase/
Puff Daddy song "Mo Money Mo Problems" that I'm having a hard time
believing -- people swear up and down to me that at the beginning
of verse two Puffy says "From the D to the A to the D D Y" when
the way I hear it every time is "From the C to the A to the D D Y".
Either one would make sense, but it seems to me it's the latter
because Puffy is professing his wealth all throughout the verse
("rock all the rocks", "never home gotta call me on the yacht")
and saying he drives a Cadillac is part of his status. I've heard
it one hundred times and the sound is not phonetically a D, it's C.
Can anybody prove to me otherwise? I'd really like to settle this
once and for all so that people stop sending me this correction.
Respond ON the newsgroup, please. Not via e-mail.
Peace, Flash
